The chef at restaurants both in downtown Fairfield and Norwalk will discuss his career in the next “What’s Cooking” program Oct. 5 at the Fairfield Public Library.

Matt Storch, a partner and chef at The Chelsea on Unquowa Place and the owner and executive chef of Match in South Norwalk, will be featured in the free 7 p.m. program at the library, corner of Old Post and Post roads.

Storch will be interviewed by Stephanie Webster, the founder and editor in chief of the CTBites website. They will also make several recipes featuring food from local farms.

Advance registration is required because of limited space, according to library officials.
