Get your toes tapping Friday night with Jazz & Pops at 7 p.m. at the Sherman Green gazebo, corner of Post and Reef roads. Performing in the free concert will be the Fairfield Ludlowe High School Jazz Ensemble and Close Harmony, an a cappella group. The concert is sponsored by the Music Parents Association. Help protect homeless pets at the Pet Protectors' Spring Fling from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on Sherman Green, Post and Reef roads. The event includes a baked goods sale, book sale and animal-related items and vendors. Proceeds benefit shelter for homeless dogs and cats until new homes are found for the animals. Take a trip back in time Sunday with a tour of the circa-1750 Ogden House, 1520 Bronson Road, from 1 to 4 p.m. The house, managed by the Fairfield Historical Society, is furnished with period objects and the kitchen garden is maintained by the Fairfield Garden Club.
