Friday night, treat kids to cool entertainment at the Missoula Children's Theatre production of "Alice in Wonderland" at Fairfield University's Quick Center for the Arts, 1073 North Benson Road. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Call 203-254-4010 or visit www.quickcenter.com for tickets or more information.
On Saturday, head back to Southport Village to the Southport Galleries, 330 Pequot Ave., and take in a summer survey of works with a seasonal focus on the Connecticut shoreline. The gallery hours are 10 a.m to 5 p.m. More information can be found by calling 203-292-6124 or by visiting www.southportgalleries.com.
Saturday night chill out with a flick at the Fairfield Community Theatre, 1424 Post Road. For $5, you'll have your choice of "Water for Elephants" or "Raiders of the Lost Ark." For showtimes, visit http://communityfilm.org or call 203-255-6255.
Put on your dancing shoes Sunday and step on over to the Sherman Green where Stanky & the Coal Miners polka band will perform at 7 p.m. Like all summer performances at the downtown venue, it's free. For more information call 203-256-3191 or visit www.fairfieldct.org.
