Anything can happen during the walk, which starts at 6 p.m. at the Fairfield Museum and History Center, 370 Beach Road. Costumes are encouraged and be sure to bring a flashlight or glow stick. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children. Reserve tickets by visiting the website, www.fairfieldhs.org.
Little goblins will be enchanted with a visit to the Enchanted Castle at the Burr Homestead, 739 Old Post Road. The storybook-themed rooms in the historic mansion are open Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5.
