Things to do in Fairfield this weekend

Fill the weekend with chores, or instead fill it with music, as there are plenty of choices this weekend in Fairfield. Here's a few suggestions:

Strings of a different kind will be featured Saturday night when Connecticut native Darian Cunning takes the stage at the Fairfield Theatre Co., 70 Sanford St. The evening will feature a solo set as well as a duo set with Kenny Owens on drums.
