It's spring and that means it's time to get yourself up and out of the house this weekend in Fairfield. Here's a list of suggestions to get you motivated:

You'll be able to say you knew them before they were famous if you attend Cinefest 2012 Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Fairfield University Quick Center for the Arts, 1073 North Benson Road. Get your antiques appraised or buy a little something for yourself at the combination appraisal fair, tag sale and health walk Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jewish Home for the Elderly's Grasmere by the Sea, 1 Post Road. Appraisals start at 11 a.m. and the cost is $5 per item or $10 for three items. The health walk starts at 9:30 a.m. and is $20 per person with kids under 12 free.
