Best-selling author E.J. Simon will talk about his new crime novel, "Death Logs In" during a program Sunday afternoon, Jan. 25, at the Pequot Library.

His appearance is part of the library's Meet the Author Series, and Simon will answer questions from the audience after his talk, then sign copies of the book, the library said. The program is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

"Death Logs In" is a sequel to Simon's "Death Never Sleeps" and features the same protagonist, Michael Nicholas, in a thriller involving artificial intelligence and Michael's "virtual" brother, Alex.
