A screening of the season finale of the HBO fantasy series "Game of Thrones" is planned Tuesday, March 27, at the Fairfield Public Library, followed by a discussion of the novel on which it was based.

The program is slated for 7 to 8:45 p.m.

After the show, a discussion will focus on George R.R. Martin's five-novel saga, "A Song of Ice and Fire," and what fans of the TV series might expect in the show's second season, the library said.
