Police are investigating a burglary reported Friday evening at a High Street home. A pane of glass in a basement door was broken and missing was a $1,750 42-inch plasma television and a sewing machine valued at $350. The homeowner said she was upstairs in a bedroom and did not hear the glass break. She said her grandson left the house around 2 p.m. and she discovered the missing items around 3 p.m.
Another burglary that occurred Friday, but was not reported until Sunday morning, is also being investigated.
