Tyke wanders from Woodridge house unsupervised
Police were dispatched to Woodridge Avenue last Friday morning to investigate a report of from a passerby who said there was a baby wandering in the road.
When officers arrived, the mother of a 15-month-old boy was outside with the child. She said she had been in the bathroom and thought all the home's security gates and doors were locked, but police said the latch on a back deck was not secured, allowing the child to leave the house unsupervised.
The child appeared well cared for, police said, and no action was taken.
