A stamp collection, valued at $50,000, has been reported stolen from the Moritz Place home of a couple going through a divorce.
According to police, the wife contacted her lawyer Wednesday morning to report the missing stamp collection, jointly owned by the couple.
The stamps were in three-ring binders on shelves in a room used by the husband, according to the report. The binders were still there, but the inserts holding the stamps were gone.
The complaint is being investigated, but not charges have been filed.
