WHL Roundup: Oil Kings down Hurricanes 4-1 for third straight win
EDMONTON - Liam Keeler scored twice while Trey Fix-Wolansky had a goal and two assists, and the Edmonton Oil Kings went on to beat the Lethbridge Hurricanes 4-1 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action.
Keeler's short-handed goal at 14:21 of the first period stood up as the winner as Edmonton picked up its third straight victory.
Fix-Wolansky now has 75 points in 43 games to sit second in WHL scoring behind Portland Winterhawks forward Joachim Blichfield, who has 79 points in 43 contests.
Vince Loschiavo also scored for the Oil Kings (24-14-7).
Jake Elmer found the back of the net for the Hurricanes (23-12-8).
Todd Scott kicked out 31 shots for Edmonton as Liam Hughes stopped 29 shots for Lethbridge.
Both clubs went 1 for 5 on the power play.

SWIFT CURRENT, Alta. — Riley Lamb kicked out 47-of-49 shots as the Broncos doubled up Brandon to avoid a third straight loss.
Alex Moar, Ian Briscoe, Ethan O'Rourke and Tanner Nagel supplied the Swift Current (9-30-3) offence.
Zach Wytinck and Luka Burzan had goals while Ethan Kruger made 20 saves for the Wheat Kings (17-18-6), who are 2-8-0 in their last 10.

LANGLEY, B.C. — Davis Koch and Tristen Nielsen had a goal and two assists apiece as Vancouver edged Victoria for its third win in a row.
Bowen Byram also scored for the Giants (26-12-2), who got 19 saves from David Tendeck.
Jameson Murray and Scott Walford replied for the Royals (22-17-1). Brock Gould turned away 24 shots in defeat.
