The 2nd annual Walk Like MADD fundraising event will be sponsored Saturday at Fairfield Ludlowe High School’s athletic field.

The event, organized by the Fairfield County chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, is a 5K run/walk “to remember lost loved ones, inspire change and commit to a nation with no more victims,” according to organizers. Money raised by the event will support MADD’s Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving.

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., with the walk starting at 10, at Ludlowe’s field, 785 Unquowa Road.

There also will be music, food and an opportunity to sign in support of the MADD Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving. Among those scheduled to attend is Vicki Knox, chief operating officer of MADD.
