Woman booked on charges of cashing in stolen books at Fairfield U. store
A 22-year-old Hamden woman has been charged with returning textbooks for cash, which had been stolen from the Fairfield University Bookstore last month.
Larissa R. Arabolos-Choplick, of Lakeview Avenue in Hamden, was charged Friday with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on April 29.
Arabolos-Choplick returned $1,001 worth of textbooks under the store's buy-back program for used books, police said. The textbooks, however, had allegedly been stolen from the store by an accomplice, according to the report.
