A Joan Drive woman was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday after an argument with her 19-year-old daughter.
Police were called to the home of Stephanie Caravakis, 48, just before 1 a.m. Tuesday by her daughter, who said while the two were arguing over her parents' impending divorce, Caravakis pulled her hair and hit her several times, according to the police report. Caravakis told police they have argued frequently since her daughter returned home from college.
The daughter left the house, but Caravakis was warned by police that she could not lock her daughter out of the house. Caravakis was released on a promise to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court later that same day.
Police returned to the home around 9 a.m. Tuesday when Caravakis called to report a verbal argument with her daughter, who she said she does not want to live n her house. Police advised her that she would have to evict her daughter.
