Woman charged with harassing former landlord
A May Street woman was charged on a warrant Monday with harassing her former landlord in violation of a protective order.
Michele Ann Thomas, 54, turned herself in at police headquarters where she was charged with second-degree harassment and violation of a protective order.
According to the police report, Thomas was arrested in November for allegedly threatening to kill the landlord. A protective order was issued, barring Thomas from having any contact with the man.
However, in December, police said, Thomas began leaving harassing voice mails for the former landlord, calling him obscene names. He also claimed that she came to his house and was banging on his window, which Thomas denied.
Bond for Thomas was set at $75,000.
