A warrant had been issued for Bianchet's arrest in connection with a Jan. 17 shoplifting incident at CVS Pharmacy, 698 Post Road.
Sgt. Suzanne Lussier, the Fairfield police spokeswoman, said Bianchet fled the scene with 15 six-packs of 5-hour energy drinks, but was later a store security officer in Bristol who reviewed the shoplifting video. He recognized her from a shoplifting incident in East Haven, Lussier said. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Bond was set at $1,000 and Bianchet is scheduled to appear March 7 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
