A Norwalk woman faces charges after she allegedly hit her husband in the head during an argument downtown Sunday evening.
Elizaette S. Nieves, 24, of Ingleside Avenue in Norwalk, was charged with breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief after she struck her husband and then ripped off their car’s windshield wiper, police said.
She then took the couple’s 5-month-old child and walked away to cool off, she told police.
The couple had parked their car on Miller Street and was on their way to a dinner at a nearby restaurant when they began arguing.
Nieves was released on a promise to appear the next day at state Superior Court in Bridgeport.
