FAIRFIELD - A 28-year-old Bridgeport man is accused of stalking three ex-girfriends and vandalizing their motor vehicles.

Thomas Jeffrey Capozziello was arrested on a warrant at his home on Savoy Street in Bridgeport on charges of criminal violation of a restraining order, first-degree stalking, two counts of electronic stalking, two counts of second-degree stalking and first-degree criminal mischief.

According to Fairfield police, the Detective Bureau conducted a detailed investigation and developed a pattern of criminal activity including stalking and criminal mischief that was determined to have occurred in Fairfield and surrounding towns.

Specifically, between March 19, 2019 and Feb. 5, 2020, three adult females each allegedly experienced incidents of vandalism to their vehicles.

“In each incident, the vandalism included all four of their vehicle's, or the vehicles of family members, tires being slashed,” police said in a release.

“Of significance is that each of the females had previously dated the same person, Thomas Capozziello and each suspected that he was responsible.”

Capozziello remains free on a $150,000 bond.
