GREENWICH \u2014 A 28-year-old man from Bridgeport was arrested on charges of buying an iPhone using someone else\u2019s identity and then breaking into a vacant Cos Cob home to retrieve the item, police said. Freddie Jimenez, 28, of North Avenue, Bridgeport, turned himself in at Greenwich police headquarters Wednesday to face charges of identity theft, criminal attempt at larceny, criminal attempt at identity theft and trespass. Police said Jimenez purchased the iPhone online for $1,250 using someone else\u2019s identity in May. Jimenez had the phone delivered to a vacant residence in Cos Cob, according to his arrest report. He later entered the property in Cos Cob in an effort to retrieve the device, resulting in an additional charge, according to post. Bail was set at $25,000.
