‘Million Dollar Listing New York’ star Steve Gold agent for Fairfield home
FAIRFIELD — Classic colonial curb appeal and modernistic interior styling, combined with a hint of television magic made the house at 115 Senate Lane in the Greenfield Hill neighborhood worth its weight in gold Thursday, when television star Steve Gold appeared for an open house.
Gold, a Stamford native and successful luxury real estate broker featured on the two-time Emmy-nominated Bravo television series, “Million Dollar Listing New York,” greeted real estate professionals as they toured the 12-room, 10,214-square-foot colonial that’s listed at $2,250,000.
Gold recently received his Connecticut real estate license and joined Coldwell Banker, largely because of the increased activity in the state as COVID-19 chases New Yorkers from congested city living. They are seeking larger houses and properties in Fairfield County, a place that’s close to his heart.
“I still have many roots in Fairfield County,” Gold said in an interview with Hearst Connecticut Media. "It's important to serve my clients wherever they want to be."
He is the co-listing agent for this house, along with Tara Rowe Hawley.
“There’s a lot that’s special about this house; the convenience of a new home with character and a sense of style that new homes are usually devoid of, especially in this price point,” Gold said.
