FAIRFIELD — Sam Kramer scored a game-high 27 points and Samantha Cooper added a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead Fairfield over Mount St. Mary’s 76-65 in a non-league women’s basketball game Tuesday night at Alumni Hall.

Kramer converted 10 of 15 shots, including seven three-pointers to tie the program’s single-game record for most 3s in a game. The Stags (1-3) went 11-for-27 (40.7 percent) from behind the arc.

Fairfield led 40-2, at halftime.

Khadidiatou Diouf just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine boards for the Stags while Kayla Agentowicz scored 24 points to lead three players in double figures for the Mount (0-4).


Army West Point 5, Sacred Heart 5 (OT): BRIDGEPORT — Jason Cotton and Matt Tugnutt each had one goal and one assist and Kory Kennedy, Vito Bavaro and Marc Johnstone each scored one goal in the tie for the Pioneers (3-8-1, 1-5-1 AHA) at Webster Bank Arena.


Sacred Heart 10, Neumann 0: SHELTON — Lexi Edwards and Olivia Bryant each had two goals and one assist and Lilly Cleary and Taylor Moreland each had one goal and two assists in the win for the Pioneers (8-3).
