A week in the life: Helped lead Crusaders to the Class S title with wins in the 200 IM (2:09.56) and 100 backstroke (57.92).
The big picture: Finished second in the 100 backstroke (58.16) and third in the 200 IM (2:09.14) to lead the Crusaders to 11th at the State Open.

Year: Junior
Position: Striker
A week in the life: Had a goal and two assists in a 5-0 win over New Milford in the Class LL second round; had the game-winning goal in overtime in a 2-1 win over Conard in the quarterfinals; scored in the shootout in a 7-5 win on penalty kicks over Greenwich in the semifinals.
The big picture: Fairfield Prep (20-2-1) will play Norwalk for the Class LL championship Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Dunning Field in New Canaan.
