Fairfield Prep cross country runner and Gatorade state cross country runner of the year Connor Rog will sign a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday to run cross country at the University of Virginia.
"The weather was enticing," Rog said on Dec. 10. "A lot of the guys on the team were cool to me."
But when the Tarheels' cross country coach Pete Watson departed for Charlottesville, Va. to become the head cross country coach at Virginia on Jan. 12, Rog changed his mind, and went with him according to a Fairfield Prep source.
