SKINNY: Sacred Heart will be looking to make it three straight victories. The Pioneers knocked the last team from the unbeaten ranks in NEC play Thursday night, beating the Bryant Bulldogs 87-76 at home. SHU scored a season-high 87 points and shot a season-best 60 percent (33-55) in dealing the first-place Bulldogs their first conference loss. SHU sits at 5-2 in the NEC, tied for second place with Robert Morris, a game behind Bryant. ... The Monmouth Hawks come off a 73-54 win over rival Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday night.

SKINNY: Today marks the first time Monmouth and Sacred Heart have met since March 11 when the Pioneers claimed their third NEC Championship with a 58-48 defeat of the Hawks. SHU heads into Saturday riding the momentum of two road wins over Saint Francis, Pa., and a come-from-behind win over Robert Morris. Junior guard Ericka Norman flirted with a quadruple double against St. Francis with 16 points, nine assists, eight rebounds and seven steals to lead the Pioneers to a 71-50 win. Norman's performance earned her the honor of Ruby Tuesday's Player of the Game. She followed with another standout perfomance againwst Robert Morris with 14 points, eight assists and six steals in the Pioneers' come-from-behind 70-66 win. Her weekend numbers earned her the honor of Co-Northeast Conference Player of the Week. ... The Hawks come in following wins over St. Francis, N.Y., and LIU Brooklyn last weekend.
