TJ Wainwright, Westhill: The senior shortstop was 4-for-4 with 3 RBI including a two-out walk-off hit as the Vikings beat Warde 9-8.

Matt Pierce, Wheeler: The Freshman pitched a complete game 3-hitter with 14 strikeouts in a 6-0 victory over Griswold.

Stephen Paolini, St. Joseph: The senior centerfielder was 4-for-6 with a double, RBI and 3 runs scored as the Cadets trounced Westhill 18-2.

Sammy Smith, Newtown: Making his first varsity start, Smith tossed a complete game with 9 strikeouts in a 9-3 win over Brookfield. He also went 3-for-4 at the plate with two doubles and 2 RBI.

Weston Bruce, Ledyard: Bruce collected three hits, including a double and a home run with 6 RBIs in a 16-0 win against New London.

Jack Drewry, Wolcott: The senior picked up three hits including a two-run home run in the first and a solo home run in the fourth, driving in five runs for the Eagles in a 7-2 win over Naugatuck.

Anthony Laducier, Norwich Tech: Laducier pitched a 4-hitter, striking out 10 as part of a 6-2 victory over Vinal Tech.

Cullen Roper, Bunnell: Roper had two hits including a two-run triple in Bunnell’s 8-7 loss to Pomperaug.
