The advsory - in effect from 7 to 10 p.m. - says high tides are expected to be about a foot above normal.

“Minor flooding is expected in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline,” the NWS says. “Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding.”

Some light rain is expected this afternoon and the first half of tonight, before drying out on Thursday.
